1. A deposit of 25% of the rental must be paid at the time of booking. The balance must be paid at least eight weeks before the commencement of the letting period. If the booking is made less that eight weeks before the commencement of the letting period the full rental must be paid at the time of booking.

2. We reserve the right to cancel the booking if the rental has not been paid in full within eight weeks of the commencement of the letting period.

3. Any cancellation by you of the booking must be notified to us in writing and will take effect upon receipt of such notice. In the event of cancellation by you more than eight weeks before the commencement of the letting period, the deposit is forfeited. In the event of cancellation by you within eight weeks of the commencement of the letting period or by us pursuant to clause 2 of these conditions the full rental will be charged.

4. Should it become impossible, owing to circumstances outside our control, to make the château available to you pursuant to this agreement all sums already paid will be refunded. We will be under no further liability in respect of the booking.

5. Unless otherwise agreed, only those persons stated in the booking form may stay at the château. The number of people staying must not exceed 17 except for infants under 2 years. Should our staff find that the number of people staying at the château exceeds that on the booking form they may at their absolute discretion ask you and your party to leave forthwith. No camping is permitted in the park.

6. Unless otherwise agreed you should arrive between 4pm and 9pm on the day of arrival and leave by 10am on the day of departure.

7. A security deposit of £1000 to cover damage and services must be paid before the commencement of the letting. This will be refunded, less any appropriate deductions, within 6 weeks of the end of the letting period.

8. You and your party must be covered by comprehensive holiday insurance throughout your stay at the château, such insurance to be in effect at least 8 weeks before the commencement of the letting period.

9. Should you have any complaints, these should be made as soon as possible after the occurrence complained of directly by email to us or to our staff. We cannot accept responsibility for the breakdown of supply of water, electricity or telephone or for any other matters beyond our control which may interfere with your enjoyment of the château. 

10. The château will be clean throughout on your arrival and should be left in the same state when you leave.

11. You are responsible for the behaviour of all members of your party. Should you or any member of your party behave offensively, our staff may at their absolute discretion, require any or all of you to leave the château.

12. No pets are allowed.

13. No smoking is allowed anywhere in the house or outbuildings.

14. Any valuables left at the château are left entirely at your own risk.

15. The use of bikes and/or the trampoline is at the tenant's own risk and requires acceptance of conditions of use. Guidance issued by ROSPA on the use of trampolines is made available.

16. This agreement is governed in all respects by English law and the English courts will have sole jurisdiction in respect of any claim or dispute arising out of or connected with it or with the occupation of the château by you and your party.
